Oh happy day! Here is a fifteen minute meal the whole family can get behind. My Chicken Tortilla Soup is warm, nourishing comfort food made with mineral rich bone broth, roasted chicken, organic herbs and spices and thanks to the blessed avocado, plenty of healthy fats!
Perfectly moist grilled chicken breasts, every time! If you would like to make this in the oven, follow the directions below for prep and then bake in oven at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes depending on the size of breasts.
Mini Fried Chicken Nuggets fabulous alone or served between mini waffles. How "hot" your chicken turns out will depend on how hot your hot sauce is. I recommend using a hot one...of course!
A lovely, creamy quiche filled with spring vegetables. You can use the crust recipes I have linked above or your favorite recipe. If edges of crust begin to brown too much, cover the crust with foil leaving the center of quiche exposed.
Speck is similar to Prosciutto but with more texture. If you can't find it use Prosciutto.
Lasagna Rolls stuffed with three cheeses, spinach and chicken and topped with butternut squash pasta sauce. I used lasagna "Plaid" noodles but you can use regular noodles as well. Always make more noodles than needed because sometimes they break. NOTE: Pasta usually cooks perfectly when cooked to package directions but the brand of noodles I bought needed a longer time to cook than the package directed. They are from Italy so I assume it was a translation error. Always cook pasta till "al dente" which means 'to the tooth' (firm but cooked) no matter what the directions say.
A delicious fried chicken finished in the oven! NOTE: The longer you leave the chicken in the buttermilk mixture the more tender it will be, I recommend 12-24 hours but you can wait as little as an hour if you're pressed for time. How "hot" your chicken turns out will depend on how hot your hot sauce is.
Delicious waffles any time. Gluten free option included. I recommend brushing waffle iron with butter to prevent sticking.
These delicious brownies have an amazing flavor that comes from browning the butter before adding it to the batter. Serve alone or with ice cream. So decadent!
Fresh ginger adds a little bit of zing and natural anti-inflammatory health benefits to these delicious, slightly sweet baby carrots! If you can not find genuine baby carrots, use full grown carrots, peeled and cut into 3" pieces. I love this recipe using rainbow carrots too!
When prepared in the restaurant the Chef uses a sous vide machine to create the most tender chicken. Knowing that most of us do not own one of these machines they have graciously offered preparation for chicken breast in this recipe. You may also use shredded rotisserie chicken or left over roasted chicken.
A traditional Carbonara Pasta with some non traditional additions!
A creamy, gooey, decadent dessert! NOTE: If you are using a baking dish instead of ramekins see notes below on adjusting baking time.
A delightful whole chicken roasted with shallots, carrots and pears in a honey ginger glaze. Serve alone or with a side salad or simple rice.
