Fluffy, vanilla-forward, very kid-friendly sprinkle cookies are perfect for birthday parties, bake sales or random Tuesdays. Baking these in a convection oven produces the perfect bake, so use it if you've got it!

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF (177ºC) (if you have a convection oven, turn it on). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.

  2. In a stand mixer, with the paddle attachment beat the butter and sugar together on medium-high until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.  

  3. Add eggs one at a time then the vanilla and beat until smooth.

  4. With the mixer on low, stir in the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt until all dry ingredients have been mixed in.

  5. Add the sprinkles and mix until just evenly combined.

  6. Roll cookie dough into heaping tablespoon sized balls and roll in granulated sugar.
