How to Make Powdered Sugar

It's been 5+ yrs since you posted about Turbinado sugar. Chances are you've most likely have used it but I wanted to jump in to tell you what I use Turbinado sugar for. When I make scones I love to brush some heavy cream on them then sprinkle a good amount of the sugar on top before baking. It gives them a nice sweet crunch that I've found missing from scones you can buy. It's a pretty expensive sugar, at least I think it is lol, so I only use it for that application. No matter the flavor of the scones I make the nutty flavor of the sugar has gone well with them. If you make homemade scones I hope you give it a try. Happy baking 🫶

Hi Lisa, I have an older vitamix, no led readouts just knob, l wondering if that will do powdered sugar as well 🤔🤔

I just made some today with coconut sugar in my Vitamix for the cream cheese frosting on the pumpkin sheet cake. So easy! I had no idea how easy it was to make my own. Thank you for taking the mystery out of so many things!
