  1. Cut each apple into quarters.  Use your knife to remove the stem area, the core and seeds, and the bottom calyx area, then cut the apple quarters into half-inch chunks.  Set the apples to the side.

I'm not the biggest fan of oatmeal but I like how you made it super fall appropriate with those flavors! I might have to still try this recipe because apple and cinnamon are a match made in heaven
