Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda; set aside.

  3. In a mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, combine lukewarm melted butter with brown sugar and sugar. Mix until smooth and uniform, not broken-looking or greasy.

  4. Add egg and beat on medium speed until incorporated, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Mix in peanut butter, honey, and vanilla.

  5. Add dry ingredients and mix until just incorporated. Fold in peanut butter chips. At this point the dough will be quite soft, but more oily than sticky. You can bake it straight away, though I prefer to let it sit at cool room temperature for about 15 minutes (it'll firm up just slightly and be a bit easier to work with). It doesn't need to be chilled, but if you find the soft dough hard to manage, feel free to chill it briefly.

I am also a baker and very surprised you had such a result. I did weigh rather then measure and reduced my cookie size to 50g but dough and cookies came out well. I only did 4 stars because I found them a little bland. My kids and hubs liked them.

This recipe is fabulous!! Follow it exactly as written and you’ll be in PEANUT BUTTER heaven! Yummmmm…..

The recipe is fraud. You will never get a cookie as pictured using this recipe. I cook. I bake. I’m not a novice. I made this recipe and the dough is like kinetic sand. No way you will get a dough too soft to handle. This is trash. Complete trash. You will get an improperly cooked biscuit from this recipe. I should have known when I read THREE TABLESPOON scoop. That’s bigger than an ice cream scoop. And is 90 - 100 grams. Totally bogus. Please remove this from the website. Three tablespoons is bigger than  a cupcake!

I’ve made these 3 times in the last 2 weeks (including one double batch). My husband sneaks them during the night and my adult kids want more. In other words, these are the best cookies I’ve ever made!

This is a darn good peanut butter cookie recipe. I made them last weekend and took them to a football tailgate - so many compliments. Thanks for including the weight of the dough ball. I used what I thought was my 3 tbsp scoop for these, but as they were sitting on the tray, I thought "there's no way these bake in 10-12 min". I weighed a dough ball and it was 80g! Oops. Fixed that situation and they baked perfectly in the timing you said. Thanks Lindsay!

This is my second time making this recipe as it was so good that the cookies disappeared too quickly. Making double the recipe this time, one batch with peanut butter chips and the other batch with chocolate chips. Win/win:)
