I add jalapeño to more flavor. Oh it was so good!
I have subbed in cashews or macadamia nuts when I don’t have Almonds or there is an almond allergy. Then to speed up prep I mix everything including the nuts. And leave out the Mayo. I always have that, and place in freezer bags or bowls to just whip it up if I have someone over. Or we want a quick fix!
I only added half the mayo amount and added 3/4 c cream cheese to maintain the creamy consistency. I recommend using only 2 green onion. Also, if you have time, grate the cheddar (as opposed to buying shredded) and cook the bacon yourself and add it - makes the flavor a little more robust. Lastly, I added some freshly ground black pepper to give it a little zing. Love this recipe!
Great Dip..!!
I make it per recipe but add grilled/chopped shrimp to the mix and serve it warm… YUM❤️❤️
I also reserve some of the green onion and bacon to sprinkle on top. Try your favorite crackers as well…
Add chili oil and reduce mayo for some heat…😋
