This is basically how I've been making mine at home. I LOVE boiled peanuts, my Mother is from South Carolina, and I'm stuck in California. So these are required when I am missing these amazing snacks!
I've read the comments on here regarding one of my most beloved snack foods, and truly feel that these folks that commented on the negative side are communists!! Boiled peanuts are wonderful, especially with a refreshing adult beverage. I have a pot boiling right now. I also found the slow cooker recipe, and am doing a batch in the slow cooker for the first time. Hopefully they will turn out just as good as the stovetop version. Cajun on the stove, and just salted ones in the slow cooker.
This is the best! So simple and delicious.
I'm sorry, but boiled peanuts are horrible. I have tried them more than once and find them inedible.
