  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place puff pastry on a baking sheet that’s lined with parchment paper – set aside.

  2. Melt butter over medium heat in a frying pan. Add onions and allow to sweat.

  3. Add spinach and cook, mixing occasionally.

  4. Remove onion and spinach from heat.

  5. In a large bowl, fold together onion, spinach, and cream cheese.

  6. Crumble the bacon into the mixture and fold more.

  7. Using an offset spatula, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on the puff pastry, leaving one inch from the end.

  8. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
