Chef's Notes

Use over cakes, coffee cakes, muffins, pies, cookies. This is enough to top about 18 muffins or cover an 8×8 inch cake. If you want to cover a 9×13 I suggest 1.5x the recipe.
Can store in the freezer in a ziplock bag to use at a later time. (Perfect for holidays like prepping for Thanksgiving… can make this in advance and then pull it out of the freezer and use atop pies or whatever you need!)

I just tried this on banana muffins and it is divine, thank you! Perfect proportions and very easy to tweak, too. I used coarse sea salt and my goodness, the sweet and salty taste is just amazing.

Works really well for no bake pies and squares. Proportions are perfect and it's adaptable. No bake means no acrylamide! (Or least very little of it).

Thank you!

I used this streusel topping for my homemade apple pie that I baked for Christmas. I did add walnuts to this recipe and thought the topping was very good and added a nice sweetness to the pie! Thanks! All the best in 2022!
