The recipe for the glaze does not look like the photo at all. My glaze was not a thick consistency. It was a true glaze. Did you use another frosting for the photo?
I've made this cake several times and its delicious! However a few times my cake 'fell' in the middle. I did use a bundt pan and baked it for 55 minutes. What am I doing wrong? The cake is very brown on the outside.
I have made this recipe over a dozen times. What I've learned to make icing thicker:
Keep stirring vigorously to completely melt all the chips. I also stick in the refrigerator before drizzling. I agree that using less of the liquid also helps, as you can always add more.
Do you use the instant pudding dry mix or the dry pudding mix that you would cook? Or it doesn’t matter?
Made this for a baby shower. They are having a boy so I just used vanilla cake and added blue sprinkles. Cake was so yummy and everyone loved it! So moist and so easy!
