  1. In a large mixing bowl combine yeast, flour, sugar and salt. 

  2. In a medium sized sauce pan, warm milk, but do not bring to a boil. Stir in the butter until melted. Remove from heat and whisk in the eggs and vanilla.

The only waffles I make at my house, no more of those frozen things for me! The yeast gives them a wonderful fluffy texture we all love. I've made these often for brunches with family and friends. Easy to make a bunch and freeze for future breakfasts.
