Almond Layer Cake

Ingredients

• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp almond extract
• 2 large eggs
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 cup milk
• 1 1/2 cup light brown sugar
• 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup almond flour
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
• 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
• 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
• 1 to 2 tbsp milk
• 1 3/4 tsp baking poweder
• 3/4 cup butter (browned and cooled slightly)
• 2 1/2 to 3 cups confectioners' sugar
