Chef's Notes

Notes
Beets can make your urine and bowel movements slightly red, which is totally normal though!
When dealing with beetroot, it can have the tendency to stain everything - your skin and chopping board included, so be careful.
I am using the H200 juicer from Hurom. You can get a 10% discount if you use my code Ela10.

My first time juicing. Do you know which ingredient makes the throat and lips feel of burning initially? Every sip my throat burns then it goes away. I did add an apple, and substituted a lemon for the lime. Thank you for the recipe. Hoping it helps me with my long CO-VID symptoms I’m currently experiencing.

I just made this this morning, Tasty indeed! The amount of money you save juicing yourself is incredible! I have a Jack L juicer and would like a new slow juicer. I am making the juice for myself so this yields about 25 ounces for me. ( I juiced the stems and leaves of beets, 1 whole lemon and use distilled water to run through juicer and add to juice) What is the best early to freeze? Is it in ice trays? How much beet juice would you consume in a day? I like to juice breakfast l, sometimes lunch and then eat a good dinner.
