Thinly slice the onion. Cut the cabbage leaves into bite-sized pieces. (If it’s difficult to get Napa cabbage, you can just use regular cabbage or add a little bit more baby bok choy.) Trim off the end. Cut the baby bok choy into quarters lengthwise. Cut the green onions into long strips. Thinly slice some white parts. Finely chop the garlic cloves.
