Octopus Cupcakes

Ingredients

• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• Large marshmallows
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
• Orange food coloring
• Candy eyes
• 1/2 cup (113g) butter (1 stick, melted)
• 1 1/2 cups (180g) flour
• 3/4 cup (149g) sugar
• 1/2 cup (114g) sour cream
• 3/4 cups (170g) butter (1 1/2 sticks, room temperature)
• 1/2 cup (118ml) vegetable shortening
• 3-4 cups (339-454g) powdered sugar
• dash of milk (if frosting becomes too thick)
• Blue/Teal food coloring
• Orange candy melts (plus small amount of vegetable shortening)
