Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Ingredients

• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 1/2 cup water
• 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (divided)
• 2/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
• 2-3 lb chicken drumsticks (about 5 drumsticks, skin removed)
• 1 teaspoon Litehouse Poultry Spice
• 1 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (divided)
• 1 teaspoon sea salt (more if needed)
• 2-3 large potatoes (cooked with skin on, peeled & mashed)
• 2/3 cup flour (added to a bowl)
• 2 eggs (whisked in a bowl)
• 1 cup breadcrumbs (added to a bowl)
• oil (for frying)
