Beetroot Ketchup with chilli
This spicy beetroot ketchup with chilli is deliciously different for dipping chips into. Easy to make with fresh or pre-cooked beetroot, it makes a wonderful homemade gift. This recipe makes roughly 1 litre of ketchup, but it is dependent on your beetroots and how thick or runny you decide to make it!

This sounds amazing and I definitely need to try it.
I actually am a lover of beets and I had never thought to turn it into a ketchup. You can't beet that color (get it?)!
I love that this has a little bit of spice to it! And such a good idea to make it as a gift.
Wow. I'm in love with this recipe! Such wonderful ingredients and flavours that make everything amazing. Love how these can be great gifts too!
What a great idea! Beets are so delicious and versatile. I use ketchup in a BBQ sauce i make all the time, and I'll bet this would be perfect!
I love this homemade recipe because it has so much less salt than store bought ketchup!

This is a brilliant recipe – I am definitely going to try it. 🔹
I made this tonight for burgers and fries. it doesn’t really taste like storebought ketchup, but it is really good! Much stronger flavor, and the tomato really shines through. I liked it a lot, especially how quick it was to make.nice sharing. thanks for the recipe. good one.🙂
We love beetroot, I've never thought of using it to make ketchup, that's a great idea.
I'm a bit of a ketchup fiend too! I've never thought about beetroot in a ketchup, but I guess it would be the sweetness in the sauce! Love it! Great idea & I want to try it now but beetroot's not in season in Australia at the moment :( Pinned for later though, thanks Kate x
Could I use already pickled beetroot? I seem to have acquired several jars.
