Honey Cornbread Muffins

Ingredients

• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 2 tbsp honey
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 eggs, at room temperature
• 3/4 cup salted butter, softened
• 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal, fine or medium grind
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
• 3/4 cup whole milk kefir, at room temperature (Lifeway)
