I made these eggs twice during Holy Week this year and they were a complete hit! People thought they were the cutest things ever and they were delicious, too. Very creative, Natasha...thank you for sharing this idea.

These chicks are so stinkin cute! They are definitely much harder to assemble than it seems. Once I added the filling to the whites, it became too heavy to stay upright. I ended up cutting up the clear plastic carton that the eggs came in and used them as holders. Then I decorated around it with some extra dill stems to hide the plastic. I received so many compliments on how cute they were. Thank you so much for this recipe π£
Yes, every year i prepare this little βCalimerosβ π
It remember me on the TV Series who played in the 60th and 70th when i was a child in Vienna in Europe. Thanks and stay safe with your family.
Substituted green onions cut up for the eyes, since not a fan of olives. Still very cute! I learned it was definitely better to cut in half, not the top third like the instructions say, because if you don't cut through the yolk enough it's way harder to do. Also more like an hour to do because I'm not that skilled lol
I add an extra 50-100 (to taste) grams of soft Kerry butter, pinch of white pepper and a extra pinch of curry powder to the mix. Then let it set in the fridge for a while. Besides the fact of extra flavor, it is also much creamier and it retains its shape so nice.
