Crispy Chicken Bites (oven-baked recipe)

5 / 5 (2 reviews)

Crispy chicken bites are simple enough to make for a quick snack, and they freeze very well. A light coating of starch and spices makes them nice and crispy when baked. You'll love them!

Chef's Notes

Chicken: This recipe can also be made with boneless chicken breasts.
To freeze these chicken bites: coat them in the starch and spices, then put them on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Freeze them, then remove them from the baking sheet and put them in a freezer bag. Bake them from frozen, adding 5 minutes to the baking time.

This is a great recipe! It helps me to hit my protein target for the day whilst allowing me to enjoy good flavours. It’s not too heavy on the carbs or fats. I decided to first add the salt to the chicken and let it sit for 15 minutes before coating the chicken in the flour mixture - it tasted awesome. Thanks for sharing this!

I've made these a few times and freeze them for quick lunches. They're literally a lifesaver with 2 young kids at home!
