Ingredients

1/4 cup water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
2 cups ice
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
Lime wedges, for serving
8 ounces pitted cherries, fresh or frozen
1/2 cup water, seltzer, or soda
8 drops orange bitters (optional)

Instructions

First, to make a syrup, add the water and sugar to a saucepan. While stirring occasionally, bring the mixture to a boil on high.
