Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease an 8x8-inch pan or similar 1.5-quart casserole dish.
In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat 16 ounces cream cheese until fluffy.
Add 2 cups sour cream, 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 3 medium jalapenos, 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon, 1 tablespoon granulated garlic, 1 tablespoon onion powder, 1-2 teaspoons salt, and 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Prepare the topping: In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers, 2 teaspoons granulated garlic, 1/4 cup melted butter, and 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Mix until evenly combined.

Fantastic dip. Making it again for Super Bowl.
Made this today. I used sliced jalapeños in a jar that I always have on hand since my husband uses them on his sandwiches. Anyway, I chopped some up and let me tell you. This was gone in no time.
