Thank you for this, my pup loves them! She really likes having her own frozen treats when her humans have ice cream. And they are so easy to make!
The recipe is as easy as you said and I love just 3 healthy ingredients, and the "kids" love them...however after in the freezer for 5 hours they did not freeze. I took 2 out to give to my "kids" and they easily smooshed between my fingers. What in the recipe is holding them back from freezing solid? Is it the oil? I used Libbys pumpkin puree, all natural Skippy peanut butter and liquid coconut oil. I'd like to make them as Christmas gifts but I'm afraid they smoosh together in the cellophane bags I bought.
A key to any successful recipes is the formula of ingredients. Though this lists ingredients, quantities are not given. Seem that makes this a shopping list; not a recipe.
Made these on Thanksgiving for my pup & she loved them. It was a quick & simple recipe.
My dog loved them especially summer day..i also tried canned sweetpotatoe puree and baby food different flavors and mixed lil oatmeal came out great thanku
I added a little bit of honey when I make these . My fur babies love them.
Matter of fact my boyfriend's son had to try them and he even enjoyed them , haha!
I usually use the whole can of pumpkin to stretch it out a little too.
Thank you for this recipe!
One More comment/question Kelly. I was wondering if I could cut back a tablespoon of Peanut Butter and add a tablespoon of natural honey? For some reason, my dog prefers "sweet" things. But if this will change the texture of the cookie do you have any other recommendation to make is sweet? Thank you again for such an awesome recipe!
