Prepare the chicken and the vegetables as listed in the main ingredients section. Make the marinade sauce by mixing all the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Put the chicken and vegetables into a large mixing bowl and pour the sauce on top. Mix them well. Cover the bowl with food wrap and marinate in the fridge for three hours. (You can marinate it for overnight to enhance the flavour even more.)

Made this today. Easy to follow recipe. Was worried there wasn’t enough liquid for cooking, but it cooked just fine on high for 4 hours.
Very yummy dish. Just what was needed on a cold miserable day.
I just made this dish today. Somehow, I’ve to use more than one cup water since I’m using my Staub pan to braise the chicken and vegetables. I’ve used up my carrots for juicing and replace with white radish instead. Hope it taste just as good as the potatoes.
Hi,
I made the recipe and I really love it. The only problem is when I re-heat the recipe, I feel like there's not much sauce at the point where it feels dry. Do you have any advice to have more sauce/juice when you re-heat the dish ?
Thanks, great recipe btw
Just made this and it's extremely delicious! Many many thanks! Will make it over and over again!
I made this recipe last night and it was absolutely delicious. We didn't have any rice wine so I substituted for dry white wine, which seemed to work well. I also only marinated the chicken for an hour as I was a bit pressed for time. Even with these changes, it was still really flavourful. The carrot adds a nice sweetness and the potatoes absorbed all the spicy deliciousness. It has a sort of British stew meets Korean cuisine vibe, which went down a treat with my Scottish boyfriend. Thanks for the recipe!
Made this tonight and it was so good! I love gochujang and am always looking for things to add it to, this was great. I was worried from the comments that it would be too dry, but it turned out perfectly, right amount of sauce after cooking at the bottom of the crockpot. Thank you, Sue! I am adding this to favorite winter time meals!
Made this last night, was great!! I had to cook it a bit longer on the stove to soften the potatoes (I used new potatoes). Will definitely be cooking this often. Thank you!
