NotesNote 1: Colorful Easter Nests
To make colorful nests, follow the same steps listed for the chocolate ones, this time using melting wafers of various colors. For a pastel look, add some white candy wafers to each bowl to lessen the saturation.
Note 2: Edible Easter Grass
We used store-bought edible grass but you can use coconut to make your own. To make edible Easter grass, put 1 cup of sweetened coconut flakes, 1/2 teaspoon of water, and a few drops of food coloring in a zip-top bag. Shake the bag until the flakes are evenly colored. Repeat for darker colors.
Note 3: Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or in the freezer.
