<span></span>Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water. Bring water to a boil and cook potatoes for 10-15 minutes. You do not want to overcook the potatoes because you will still shredded and bake them. Drain water and let potatoes cool until they are comfortable to handle. You can place them in cold water to cool if you wish then dry them very well.
<span></span>Grate zucchini on the large side of the grater then place it on a paper towel or dish cloth and drain as much water as you can out of it. Next grate the potatoes. Place the grated zucchini and potatoes into a medium bowl, add about 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon chili powder. Gently combine all the ingredients with your hands while trying to keep the shape of the grated potatoes.

How come theres no nitritiOn facts for each recipe? Im trying to keep track of my calories and would love to Know. And tbe serving (portion) size wIth caores would be great too. Hopefuly spmeone can help. Id give 5 stars bEcause the food looks amazing theres just no Nutritional facts so its kind of a bummEr.
Tried these today, our tots didn't look like yours, the cheese melted in a little puddle of some of them, but the kids didn't mind, I had to cook them longer too. All in all this recipe itself is very delicious, I added fresh garlic to ours, thanks!
I just baked mine a bit longer and they turned out perfect! Should have tried that first :) :) They are delicious!!!
I understand what you're trying to say but remember potatoes are also a vegetable and kids don't EVER seem to have a problem eating them as long as they are fried and from a fast food place or mashed. It's the healthy ones they don't seem to like as much because we don't fix them as often.
