I’ve made this recipe for years now- it’s our favorite!  I use dried minced onion instead of raw and I usually don’t cook the bacon- I just lay it on top and cook it covered then uncovered to brown the bacon more.  Everyone loves these beans!

These beans are the beast. Every time I make them we never have any left. I cringe when I see people opening a can of beans and cooking them in a pot on the stove. I step in and ask for bacon and onion and the rest of the ingredients. From then on, I’m asked to bring the beans! 😂

I had to come back and comment and say this is still our favorite baked beans recipe. When I tell my son we're having beans, he always asks "Are they Heidi's Beans?" :)

This is my family's favorite baked beans recipe. I now double the recipe because I got tired of them begging me make more e next day lol.
