Instructions
Heat a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat.
Add the walnuts, butter, and brown sugar and allow to melt, stirring with a spatula constantly to coat the walnuts. Once the walnuts are coated and the butter and sugar are fully melted, turn off the heat.
Pour the walnuts onto a piece of parchment paper into one single layer, separating the walnuts to make sure they don't dry clumped together.

Terrible was this recipe even tested? Plus The video doesn't work either. The brown sugar i butter combo was totally wrong. Waste of walnuts and brown sugar. I won't return to this site...Martha Stewart where are you!!
Worked a treat. I used golden castor sugar and butter and melted them in a stainless stain casserole pan. Added a bit of sea salt when they were on the greaseproof paper. I’ll definitely make them again. 😀
Didn’t work!! Brown sugar didn’t melt. Wont make again.
Sugar didnt melt. Just clumped. Had to remove off of low heat once the walnuts started to burn. A waste of money.
Followed the recipe and turned out perfect !
When I try a new recipe, I always follow the instructions to the letter: Ingredients, measurements, process, etc.
I think 1/3 brown sugar is too much for a cup of walnuts. I got a lot of sugar clumps and it took quite sometime for the brown sugar to melt. It came out good in the end but I think the amount of sugar needs to be cut to 1/4.
Else, it’s good! I will be using this for my salads. Thank you for sharing your recipe!
I should have read the reviews before attempting. My sugar and butter would not melt. Any other recipe tells you to melt the sugar and butter first before putting the walnuts and I should have listen to those.
Unfortunately, the sugar and butter did not melt, nor did they stick to the walnuts. There was no contamination from my utensils or pot, and my ingredients were fresh when I made this recipe. I also tried using low heat. Indeed, what a bummer considering how expensive walnuts have become.
Made this stirred forever even lowered heat. Don't like with dark brown sugar too dark am trying light brown next wish me luck
The sugar would not melt. I stirred and stirred and stirred. Ended up with clumps of brown sugar, but not on the walnuts. This is the second time I've tried this with the same result. Will not do it again.
The sugar and butter did not stick to the walnuts. Ended up dumping in a pile on parchment to cool and hoping some sugar sticks as it cools.
